The dock is a busy place. Pedestrians, forklifts, trucks and trailers all working in this area can create fatal hazards.  In fact, about 25% of all reported warehouse injuries occur on loading docks, and for each incident, hundreds of near misses occur.

Safe and Secure

IRONguard’s DockGate helps to reduce the stats by providing a visual barrier at the dock door. Its sturdy construction makes it warehouse tough and its bright safety yellow makes it impossible to miss.

Simple Installation

Installation is a breeze and the DockGate’s adjustable arm allows for three convenient door width options; 8’, 9’ and 10’.

Full Access

To close the gate, simply release the arm from it’s locked position and pull down into place. To open, the arm can easily be pushed back up and locked into place.  The DockGate also features a simple to use Tagout/Lockout system that clearly shows when a dock or door is out of service.

Meets the Standard

IRONguard’s DockGate is a possible solution to satisfy this OSHA Standard 1910.23(5): Railing Specifications. A standard railing must consist of top rail, intermediate rail, and posts, and must have a vertical height of 42 inches from the upper surface of the top rail to floor, platform, runway or ramp level.

Control access to the dock and create a clearly visible barrier for forklift operators and pedestrians inside the warehouse with IRONguard’s DockGate.
